I Tell Stories.
I Combine The Two And Write Stories.
I've never really understood why most people write their bios in the third person. Russell believes it's because people don't like talking about themselves and think it's less chest poundy (made up word). However, Russell does believe there is a time and place for it, as long as you have a silky, smooth transition from first to third, like the one you were just lucky enough to experience.
Russell is an ACD/Writer who has worked on brands like Burger King, Tim Hortons, Netflix, Google, Crackle, LA Lakers, Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, (breath) Toyota, Ole Smoky Moonshine, TBS Network, Naked Juice, (breath) Mattel, Belkin, Linksys, WeMo, QODE, Epoch Lacrosse, Land Rover, Hot Wheels, (deep breath) Haagen Daz and LG. He has worked on all types of media and while he has a deep-rooted love for long body copy, he has come to understand that there is a time and place for it. Of course that means, there’s never a time or place for it.
Russell has degrees in English and Literature, and much to his parent’s chagrin, another one in advertising (whatever that means). He lives in Culver City with his wife, their new little girl, two dogs and his green card.
